Introduction.

Hello, my name is Melanie Ould.
This is my blog for my AS Media coursework. For this I am going to be making a magazine front cover, contents page and double page spread.
As well as doing this I will be showing my thought process and research and planning skills. This is so that I can show you, the audience, how I came to make the decisions I made and why I think that they work or don't work.
Hopefully, all of this information will be presented in an easy to read and interactive manner.

Background information:
I live on the Isle of Wight, and I attend Ryde High School.
I am aspiring to get into the Media industry, namely the radio side of it. I currently have my own radio show on my local hospital radio. I am in Year 12 and I take 5 AS Levels; Media, English Language, i-Media, Japanese and Photography. I am hoping that the AS Levels I have taken will all help me in this project, as they can all (except for maybe Japanese) be linked back into the Media Industry in some way.
